Oyo Democratic Alliance commends Makinde’s landmark achievements in first 100 days




Members of Oyo Democratic Alliance have congratulated Governor Seyi Makinde for his sterling performance in his first 365 days in office.

This was contained in a press statement signed by the Chairman of the group, Wole Adedoyin  in Ibadan yesterday.

According to the statement, “It is an undisputable fact that Gov. Seyi Makinde has done exceedingly well in just one year in office. He has touched virtually every facet of governance and given us hope. With him in the saddle, Oyo State would attain that dream of being a super mega city in Nigeria within the shortest possible time. He has done excellently well in infrastructural development, security, transport, agriculture, civic engagement, among others.

“We are happy to be identified with the great success his administration has rendered within 365 days in office.

“We are also optimistic that he will consolidate on his achievements and touch other areas that could make a significant difference for the people of Oyo State in the remaining part of his tenure.”

“Worthy of note is the commitment of Governor Seyi Makinde to security of life and property by unveiling plans to strengthen internal security of the state through the rebranding of Operation Burst as well as enhancement of education in the state.

“Also commendable, is the acquisition by the government in the last 100 days, of modern security equipments, gadgets and vehicles to ensure a crime free state. All these endearing gian security strides by Governor Seyi Makinde, received tremendous corporate organizations and individual support in cash and kind.

“It is common knowledge that he has also touched the health, education, agriculture, transportation, economy sectors for good within his 100 days in office”, the statement said.
